In a heartfelt plea to the Nigerian Senate and the public, Promise Aloba, the grieving mother of the late musician Mohbad, has called for the arrest of Naira Marley, citing concerns for her son’s safety.

This emotional appeal was made during a condolence visit by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Entertainment Economy, Elisha Abbo, as well as Nollywood actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo to the Aloba family in Lagos on Thursday.

Mrs. Aloba expressed deep distress over her son’s alleged encounters with Naira Marley, claiming that the late singer had confided in her about the threats he faced from the controversial artist. She implored Nigerians to join her in the search for Naira Marley, emphasizing that she cannot undertake this task alone and that their assistance would be her only solace.

Additionally, Mrs. Aloba revealed that her son had informed her about an unsettling incident involving the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), alleging that they had once given him a mysterious bottle of water to consume. She earnestly requested help from the public in shedding light on this matter.

Distraught and heartbroken, Mrs. Aloba further shared her son’s distressing experiences, stating that he frequently spoke of being physically assaulted. She mentioned names like “Sam Larry” without a clear understanding of their significance in her son’s life.
