Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State launched a decisive crackdown on criminal elements in Uzo Uwani local government area, resulting in numerous arrests of suspects wielding dangerous weapons in the region’s forests.

Emphasizing the importance of adhering to legal processes, Governor Mbah cautioned against vigilante justice, affirming his commitment to upholding law and order.

During an impromptu visit to Adani and Igga communities, the governor extended scholarships and job opportunities to the families of slain police officers and Neighbourhood Watch operatives. He underscored the government’s dedication to ensuring the safety of citizens and pledged to continue operations until the area is completely secure.
