If you want God To Bless You Stop Extortion, Corruption: IGP tells Police Officers [Video]
Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., has told police officers to end corruption and extortion if they want God to bless them.
The IGP gave the advice few moments ago during a working courtesy visit to Akwaibom state Police command today, Tuesday December 12, 2023.
In his exact words “if you work hard, you will get blessings. But if you add extortion to your hard work, you have spoiled everything. The moment you started extorting people, you are asking God not to border about you, you want to bless yourself and God will not borde about you, he will leave you to continue to extort and he will be laughing to see how far extortion can take you”.
He further slammed the officers saying “You know your colleagues who believe in extortion, take a look at them, are they blessed? And you see other officers who are committed to doing the job diligently and by the time God is ready to bless them, you will be so surprised”.
“I will tell you, I am an example 9f God blessings. If you want God to bless you, first of all stop corruption, stop Extortion, stop criminal behavior; so what I am saying is we have to firat of all change our behavior for good, so than we can change the policing of the country”.
