In response to the prevailing safety and security challenges in Israel, UEFA has officially announced the suspension of all matches organized by the governing body “until further notice.”
The decision, made by the UEFA executive committee, comes after a comprehensive assessment of the current situation across the entirety of Israel.
A statement released on Thursday emphasized the gravity of the safety concerns, stating, “After a thorough evaluation of the current safety and security situation in the whole territory of Israel, the UEFA executive committee decided that no UEFA competition matches shall be played in Israel until further notice.”
