In what seems to be a drastic blow to the quest of Ndi Igbo from five states of the Southeast, Nigeria to produce the next Nigeria President; the actions of two PDP Governors in the zone seem unbelievable.
Today in the Southeast, PDP has two Governors, APC has Two Governors while APGA has only one Governor making it a total of five governors in the Geopolitical zone.
However, the Actions of the two PDP Governors mean a lot sending a wrong signal to those hoping for a Nigeria President of Igbo Extraction to emerge through PDP.
The Two Governors, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state surprised everyone in Igbo Land when Mr. Peter Obi visited their states.
Look at this video, where Governor Ikpeazu joined Gov Wike’s Presidential Campaign train and endorsed Wike.

Ikpeazu also did not give Mr. Peter Obi audience when he Visited Umuahia, the Abia State capital to address the PDP Delegates.
Also when Peter Obi Visited Enugu state, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi delegated his deputy and commissioners to host Mr. Obi.
Ugwuanyi was not present to welcome Mr. Peter Obi.
This is heart racking and difficult reality for Southeasterners hoping for an Igbo man from SE to emerge as the PDP flag bearer especially the Leadership of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo
Meanwhile, this is not the first time a thing like this happened in the history of Nigeria. The former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had the worst experience.
The majority of Southwest people, the majority of his Yoruba people rejected him and did not vote for him. This is unlike Mr. Peter Obi who has the mandate of the majority of Ndi Igbo, and over 98% votes of every politically educated Nigerian across the country.
The question is; Can this be a defeat of the Igbo presidency in PDP?
Can Mr. Peter Obi Survive without the support of only the Remaining PDP governors from the Southeast?
