A shocking and deeply unsettling event has unfolded in Kwara State as the wife and two children of Honorable Lawal Ayanshola Soliu, the representative for Ipaiye/Malete/Olooru in Moro Local Government at the Kwara State House of Assembly, were ruthlessly abducted.
This terrifying ordeal transpired on a somber Monday evening when a group of heavily armed assailants, brandishing menacing AK-47 rifles, descended upon the legislator’s residence at around 1:00 a.m.
The assailants unleashed a barrage of gunfire into the night sky, sending terror rippling through the neighborhood, prompting residents to flee in fear. In the ensuing chaos, the kidnappers swiftly and stealthily spirited the victims away, leaving behind an eerie silence and a cloud of uncertainty surrounding their whereabouts.
A clandestine source disclosed that one of the captors made contact with the family, revealing that he had not yet joined his cohorts in the forest to negotiate the ransom, adding yet another layer of suspense to the situation.
Despite repeated attempts to reach the lawmaker via telephone on Tuesday, there was an eerie silence from his end.
