EFCC to Prosecute NAF Officers

EFCC-Army

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared its resolve to prosecute Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officers who were apprehended in Kaduna State on Friday.

This development unfolded amid a tense confrontation between military personnel and EFCC operatives, as the former attempted to liberate individuals detained for fraudulent activities.

In the aftermath of the clash, the detained NAF officers were released on administrative bail, following the prescribed bail procedures of the Commission. Offering an updated perspective on the matter, Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity at EFCC, conveyed in a statement on Saturday that the officers will face charges in court upon the conclusion of the ongoing investigation.
