Popular Nolliwood Actor known as Jr. Pope has been confirmed dead by the Medical Doctor at Asaba, Delta State Capital.
According to a Make up Artist, Abigail Fredric, he’s been confirmed dead by a medical doctor at St. Bridget’s hospital in Asaba, Delta State.
Another reliable source says, Jr. Pope whose death rumor stirred serious controversy in the media space has been declared dead by the Medical Doctor around 8pm on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024.
“Before he was taken back to the river, he was already confirmed dead, but the crowd can not be told immediate due to the tension at the hospital” another source said.
However, Jr. Pope was drowned while shooting a movie scene at River Niger after a speedboat accident.
The National President of Actors Guide of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas is not reachable for further clarifications.
It could be recalled that Rollas had once announced that Jr. Pope was alive after previous confirmation that he was dead within hours, a situation that thrown Nigerian media space to confusion.
A popular musician Anyidons in a message best seen as farewell message to Jr. Pope described him a dearest friend.
