In a shocking turn of events, Gbolahan Oyedemi, a Deputy Commissioner of Police associated with the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Alagbon, Lagos State, reportedly took his own life on Monday in his hometown of Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Oyedemi, who previously served as the Aide de Camp to the late former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala during his brief tenure as de facto governor in 2006, was found deceased in his private residence, according to sources close to the family.

Sources revealed that Oyedemi, who typically visited his hometown during Easter celebrations, had instructed his aides to spend the holiday with their families elsewhere. The discovery of his body hanging in his residence has left many perplexed and searching for answers.
