COVID19: Enugu state Gov announces more precautionary measures

  • Enugu state Government has announced more precautionary measures to contain spread of covid19 pandemic in the state.

These measures were made public yesterday in a statement released by the state Honorable commissioner for Health, Professor Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu.

The precautionary measures mainly directed to the residents include to:


  1. Stay at home as much as you can.


  1. Use a clean cloth mask daily if you have to go out.


  1. Do not touch the front of the mask while wearing it.


  1. Remove your mask only from both ears at the same time.


  1. Wash your hands after removing the mask.


  1. Wash your cloth mask, dry and iron it everyday.


  1. Maintain respiratory hygiene when you have to cough or sneeze.


  1. Maintain social/physical distancing protocol always.


  1. Wash your hands as often as you can with soap and running water.


  1. When you can’t wash your hands use an alcohol based hand sanitizer frequently.
