Israel Ground Raid on Gaza, Preparing Invasion

In preparation for a potential ground operation, the Israel Ground Forces carried out a Targeted Raid in Gaza overnight. This operation was supported by Fighter Jets and Drones.

The Israeli Army has officially confirmed the operation, stating that “During the last day, IDF ground forces, accompanied by IDF fighter jets and UAVs, conducted an additional targeted raid in the central Gaza Strip.” The military targeted several terror-related sites, including anti-tank missile launch sites, military command centers, and Hamas militants. After completing the mission, the troops left the area.

Footage released by the military shows a convoy of armored vehicles and a cloud of dust rising after the strikes. A similar ground operation, involving tanks and infantry, took place in the northern part of the Palestinian territory the previous night. These actions come in response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent statement that Israel is preparing for a ground offensive.

It’s important to note that the situation in the region remains tense, with ongoing conflicts and casualties. On October 7, there was an incursion by Hamas militants into Israel, resulting in casualties and kidnappings, as reported by Israeli officials. In retaliation, Israeli air and artillery strikes in Gaza have led to a significant number of casualties, including many civilians and children, according to figures from the Hamas-controlled health ministry. The level of casualties in Gaza is the highest since Israel’s unilateral withdrawal from the territory in 2005.
