Esteemed actor, Yemi Adeyemi, fondly known as Suara, has departed this world. In a heartfelt announcement made on the 25th of September 2023 by the grieving Adeyemi family, Yemi Adeyemi breathed his last on the 24th of September 2023.
The official statement, endorsed by the late actor’s son, Adedotun Adeyemi, conveyed this solemn message: “With heavy hearts, and in humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi, better known as Suara, who peacefully departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
We find solace in the knowledge that he has found eternal rest. During this time of mourning, we kindly request some privacy.
Further details regarding the funeral arrangements will be communicated shortly.” Adeyemi achieved fame through his remarkable portrayal of Suara in the now-iconic ‘Oh Father…Oh Daughter’ segment of the immensely popular Super Story series, produced by Wale Adenuga Productions. His talent also graced the screens in productions such as ‘Lekki Wives’ and various other notable films.
