Peter Obi unveils presidential campaign council in next few hours

 Presidential Campaign Organisation of Labour Party Candidate, Peter Obi, will be unveiled on Wednesday, The Nation has learnt.

This is coming days after Obi had launched an official website to promote his political campaign and solicit funds ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Recall that LP had come under scrutiny over delay in releasing its structured campaign council.

An invitation card seen by The Nation tagged “Pre-Campaign World Press Conference”, is expected to take place at Chelsea Hotel in Central Area of Abuja by 12:00 noon.

The party is expected to present its list of council nominees.

Meanwhile the Director General of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe in a tweet on Tuesday night stated he that he would address a press conference on Wednesday.

He said: “I will address a World Press conference tmro at 12noon. I will be speaking on Labour Party and Peter Obi, the journey so far, the Obidient Movement, and also announce the Presidential campaign council.”
