Flood Disaster: Anambra Rice Farmers send emotional message to Governor Soludo, others, Cry For Help

Rice Farmers in Anambra State, Nigeria have cried for help following the flood ravaging their farms, destroying produce worth millions of Naira.

Speaking to News Center, Amb. Mark A Odogwu, Chairman/CEO, ORISH-EL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES aka Light Ambassadors Transformation Projects, LATP said their rice farm is already ripped for harvesting before the flood came and swept everything.

Odogwu noted that LATP as an Entrepreneurial organization is funding a cluster of over one thousand rice farmers who were affected by the flood.

In his words “Our rice Farm is located at Osi-akwa/Odoakpato community in both Ihiala and Ogbaru LGA, Anambra state, Nigeria. The farm is cited around Ulasi river”.

“We have Over 1000 rice farmers affected in that area alone”.

“We are using this medium to beg  Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, well meaning Nigerians and well wishers to come to our aid”.

“We need urgent intervention funds, to get back to our feet,”.

“This is the worst thing ever to happen to us. We lost everything” he concluded.

However, Orish-El Community Development Initiatives aka, LATP as an organization is in partnership with PFN Anambra State, Nigeria under the Chairmanship of Bishop Moses Ezedebego.
