Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has been cleared to participate in the forthcoming PDP presidential primaries ahead of the 2023 general election.
Mr. Obi also received the clearance certificate confirming him as an aspirant ahead of the poll.
Apart from Obi, Senator Bukola Saraki has earlier publicized his PDP presidential clearance certificate.
Meanwhile, there is growing speculation that the two aspirants disqualified have already petitioned the party’s appeal committee demanding a Weaver as well as a level playing ground.
News Center Nigeria gathered that one of the disqualified PDP Presidential aspirants hails from southwest Nigeria, while the second person hails from the North.
However, the Chairman PDP Presidential Screening Committee, Senator David Mark after revealing that two aspirants were disqualified deliberately hide the identities of those affected.
Mark equally said the two disqualified aspirants will forfeit N40m each!
