Ebonyi State Governor, Engr Dave Umahi has continued to assure Ebonyi people that he is still the incumbent Governor.
Dave Umahi few minutes ago using his social media platform asked the people to remain calm.
He wrote “This is to inform the good people of Ebonyi State, fans and lovers of Governor David Umahi, across Nigeria and in the diaspora that Engr. David Umahi, FNSE, FNATE is still the Governor of Ebonyi State as the current legal issue is being properly handled in a competent court of law – the Appeal Court”.

“Let me equally confirm for the umpteenth time that the Governor and his deputy have duly filed for a Stay of Execution in the Court of Appeal which has jurisdiction over the case”.
“Consequently, we urge the teeming supporters of Governor David Umahi to remain calm without buying into the social media propaganda of the enemies of the state as there is nothing to worry about and the transformation agenda of the Governor will be completed”.
