Enugu State Govt. Repairs the Pitch of Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium ahead of 2020/2021 Season in reaction to the directive of League Management Company (LMC) asking eleven #football clubs to fix their turf or risk playing their home games outside.

Meanwhile, Enugu state Commissioner for youths and sports, Manfred Nzekwe explained that even before the directives, the state government has always maintained the pitch of Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium before beginning of the season.

He assured football lovers in Nigeria that the pitch will be set before beginning on 2020/2021 season on December 6th, 2020.

He refuted the rumour that the entire stadium was not fit for football games and reemphasized that LMC only complained about the pitch.
