Super Eagles and Heartland FC shot stopper has revealed that the Owerri based club owed the players three months salary. Last week news broke out that Sunshine Stars, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Heartland FC are owning their players three months outstanding salaries.
Speaking to DREAM SPORTS CENTRE, the team have not been paid and the players have been calling to know the situation. The club owed the players December, March and April, and as the assistant captain of club, he is not happy about the situation.
According to the former Katina United player, he lamented that the club is going through tough times, adding that the management have been doing a great job and have never owed the players before. He further revealed that the club has promised to offset all the payments and outstanding salaries before the week runs out.
