Covid19: Hon Ejike Ilo Provides Palliatives For Vulnerable Persons In Ehuhe Achi, Oji-River LGA

President General, Ehuhe Achi Autonomous Community and Coordinator Oji-River Association of Presidents Generals, Hon Ejike Ilo has donated 202 Tubers of yam and two bags of Sachet Salt to the Poorest of the poor in Ehuhe Achi Community, Oji-River Local Government Area, in Enugu state.

Hon Ejike Ilo while sharing the palliative items to forty five selected families in the community today, Monday, April 27,2020, said he is determination to give more succor to the most vulnerable persons in his community and enjoined the beneficiaries to accept his widows might.

Addressing the beneficiaries, the Executive Chairman of Oji-River LGA, Hon Barr Frank Udemezue described Hon Ejike Ilo as a Man with the heart of gold. Hon Udemezue maintained that out of the 29 Presidents generals in Oji-River LGA, Hon Ejike Ilo was the first PG to render such gesture to his community.

The Council Boss enjoined other peoples’ spirited individuals in Oji LGA to emulate Hon Ilo while reiterating that the Government alone can’t do everything and promised to make the Ehuhe Achi Health Centre functional within the next two months.

Meanwhile, the food and relief items presented by Hon Ejike Ilo were evenly distributed to the three hamlets of Ehuhe Achi which comprise of Umuarungwu, Achara and Umuagu.

Meanwhile those who witnessed distribution of the palliative items include; the Executive Chairman of Oji-River LGA, Hon Barr. Frank Udemezue, the SPA ( POLITICAL) to the Chairmen, Hon Amaobi Umeano, the Supervisor of Agric -Hon Obinna Ezechukwu, the Supervisor of Finance, Hon Jude Mbie and the Supervisor of Works Hon Thankgod Eze in attendance.

Also Councilor representing Achi Uno Ward 4 in the Oji-River Legislative Council, Hon Nick Onwukwe, the Liaison Officer to the Traditional Ruler of Egwu Achi Autonomous Community, Engr Onyebuchi Egwuatu, the Traditional Prime Minister to the Igwe (Onowu), Hon Geoffrey Okoro and the Home Branch Chairman of the Town Union, Comr Henry Onu.
