Mohammed Sanusi, scribe of the Nigerian Football Federation has stated that the coronavirus pandemic has stagnated and affected the football in the country, revealing that the programs of the federation will have to start again.
Reacting to the situation concerning female football in the country, sanusi noted that they decided to cancel the national camp of the women’s U-19 as well as the U-17 women’s team as a result of the lock down directives issued by the health authorities.
He further revealed that the football house have undergone some serious spending in terms of feeding, camping, and logistics especially for the U-20 Women’s team before the postponement of their World Cup qualifiers, which have all gone down the drain.
