Ferdinand Udoh Celebrates Successful Surgery A Year After

Nigeria’s FIFA badge referee, Anietie Ferdinand Udoh, has come out to celebrate the successful surgery he had on his Achilles tendon a year after.

Udoh who is one of the best referees in Nigeria has been with the career threatened injury for sometimes revealed the surgery was carried a year ago on Tuesday and he is thanking God for keeping him.

The 33-year-old experienced referee was very excited about the outcome and gave all glory to God and everyone who stood by him during those difficult periods. According to Udoh, during the surgery my career was on the line.

But God never fails. Slowly, he slept off and in about 1 hour 30 minutes, he woke up and the first person he saw was professor Nicolli Mafulli staring at him. The surgeon said to him that he had strong bones and it was easy for the medical personnel to carry out the surgery successfully.

However, the Akwa Ibom State indigene bagged his FIFA badge in March 2013 and has returned to the game this season officiating two NPFL matches, Lobi Stars vs Wikki Tourist and MFM vs Rangers before the coronavirus outbreak.
