Executive Chairman of Ezeagu LGA, Hon. Marius Chukwudi Ani has charged security agencies to avoid tacking bribe. The mayor made this known in a press statement made available to News Center Nigeria by the Media Aide and ICT consultant to the Ezeagu LG Chairman, Comr. Jude Chijioke Jideofor
According to the statement, Hon. Marius Chukwudi Ani paid a visit to the boundaries between the Ezeagu Local Government and Awka South Local Government Area in Anambra state in a view to monitor implementation of the federal and state government restriction order on interstate movement.
Chukwudi Ani Charged security officers manning the border to strictly adhere to the Government directives and avoid collection of bribe from anyone in violation of the order.
He noted that no one know who is carrying Covid-19 and as such ‘everyone need to help the Government and help our people to avoid spread of the virus across the Country. He added, let those in Anambra remain in there, while we in Enugu remain where we are; he warned.
Meanwhile the interstate boundaries visited include; Aguobu Umumba Ndiagu and Agba Umana (Ebenebe boundary).
